Nothing on CardShala is financial, tax or legal advice. The posts explain how cards and payment rules work and do the maths on example spending. They do not know your income, your credit history or your spending. No approval promises
CardShala never tells you your chances of approval, and nothing here promises that you will get a card, a limit or an offer. Only the bank decides that. If a post mentions an income or age requirement, it is repeating what the issuer publishes, not predicting what the bank will do with your application.
Numbers are checked and dated, and they go out of date
Every fee, reward rate, milestone and limit on this site is checked against the issuer’s own page, or for payment rules against the regulator or NPCI where that document can be reached. Every post shows a Last verified date at the top. That date is when the numbers were true.
Banks change card terms often, sometimes several times a year, and without much notice. So check the issuer’s page before you act on any number here. Where a post values reward points in rupees, it says what value it used and where. That value is an assumption, not a promise of what you will get.
Spot a number that has changed? Tell me and I will fix it and update the date.
Paying interest
No reward on this site is worth carrying a balance for. Card interest wipes out cashback many times over. Every example here assumes you pay the full bill by the due date.
Money and referral links
CardShala carries no referral links today, and no card on this site paid for a mention. Every recommendation you read here is uninfluenced by commission.
That will change if the site joins bank or aggregator referral programmes. When it does, this page will be updated first, and every post with a referral link will say so at the top, above the content, in these words:

Card and bank names belong to their owners. Naming a card here does not mean the bank has approved or checked what is written about it. CardShala is independent and is not a bank, a card issuer or an agent of one.
